What were thoughts about the Summer Learning Day presentation held at Towson University? What would you suggest to make it better?
Suggestion: COME ON TIME!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThoughts: Spearkers shold be people who are not really known but made a difference in the world. Also they could people that are really close to our age or some that grew up in Baltiimore
i thought the summer learning day presentation held at Towson was a good oppurtunity for the student's to hear from a successful person and hear their life story. to make it better they should have some hands-on activities.
ReplyDeleteIt was okay at the Towson MGP presentation. The speaker was all right. I really appreciate coming late but we got the seats closest to the door which mean we leave first.
ReplyDeleteif the speaker was our age then they aren't a person to really look up to. also people who lived in B-more would be a good speaker

ReplyDeleteTo make the MGP presentation better is to not have someone there to give us this long story like the man from the L.A. Raiders(now Oakland). Also they should make funny to get us the students to really enjoy why we are apart of the program

ReplyDeleteSuggestion: They could have made it a bit more fun cuz im sorry i cant just sit there 4 a long time doing nothing. They could've had more exciting speakers

I think the summer learning day at Towson was ALRIGHT i guess but it was a little boring to me.I wasnt really into it , but the good thing is that i didnt fall asleep !

ReplyDeleteWhat I Throught About The Summer Learning Day At Towson Was Okay But We Got There LATE So We Missed Some Stuff. The Speakers Wass Okay . I Like The One Last Year Better Because He Wass Funny . I Would Make It Better By Having The Bus ON TIME , Good Speakers, And BETTER ICE CREAM.

i thought it was boring because we got there late and i didnt know what was going on! Also, the ICE CREAM was great!!!!!!!i would suggest that they would get better speakers like people we actually know or heard of!
ReplyDeleteThe presentation at Towson was pretty good. Even though we got there late we still got to listen to a great speaker who gave us some knowledge for the future. Plus the ice ice cream was good!

ReplyDeletei think it was really good but it could be better by more organization.Other than that i think it was really good i liked the occasion and setting we were in it was great.............thats just my opinion.........ps.i really liked the ICE CREAM IT WAS REALLY GOOD!
ReplyDeleteI think it was very informative . the program wasnt as exciting as i thought it would be . but we got there late anyway which made it even better ! the ice cream was salty but the "chill time" after was chills ! umm i dont think i would be interested in going to another one . the whole idea of summer school might excite some but to me its just taking away from my sleep time .
ReplyDeleteIt was good, we were only there for a short period of time, but i did learn some new things. It was an OK experience. It could've been better by having something more than just speakers speaking.. even though that was ok to hear about their lives.
ReplyDeleteI thought the presentation was okay and I liked the speaker because he made you see that if you put your mind to something, you can do anything. And he was an example of that. Also the icecream we got afterwards was good
ReplyDeleteWell, since we missed like, half the program, I can't say much. A female speaker was singing some old tunes & to me, it was completely random & confusing. However, to the ones who endured the entire thing probably understood it & had a great time. I had an OK time there. My favorite part was the ICE CREAMMMM!!! I'm a vanilla girl & it was really good. So yeahhh...

The presentation was good even thoug we didnt get to see all of it it was good presentation.i think that to make the program better or the presentation better the kids should be involved with the program overall it was good..!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was a good effort. I believe that it could really help to solidify the program. for example having the kick-off shows that all of these different schools are coming together to help "city" kids. Speaking of kids there the same no matter where you go. there might be different circumstances and different challenges but that doesn't make us seem like a different species of kids. I thiught the kick-off was a good thing and that they should continue to do it.
ReplyDeletei thought the learning day at towson unversity was pretty cool . i did learn a little something about how to stay focused and anybody could do anything if you were determined . ice cream was good , and a day out with my Mcdonogh camp members was fun =) !
